Iguanas

Iguanas are a reptile species due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, one of several smaller wild animals populating the game's world. The clearest evidence so far comes from the game's debut trailer, which shows an iguana perched on the shoulder of a homeless man in an early shot, indicating the species will show up as incidental street-level wildlife.

Iguanas are repeatedly visible in Grand Theft Auto VI marketing. Trailer 1 at 0:32 puts one on a homeless man’s shoulder on Shore Drive. An official Leonida Keys screenshot shows another crossing a Key Lento road, and dressed pet iguanas appear around a woman’s neck at The Rusty Anchor in Keys / Cal Hampton stills.

Official Port Gellhorn artwork and An Extended Look trailer art also include iguanas, which pushes the species past a one-off prop into recurring Leonida street and Keys wildlife. No combat stats or player-taming rules are attached to those stills.
