Rockstar’s tour
GTA 6 Official Places
On 20 October 2026, Rockstar’s Only in Leonida page still says “Tour a few of the must-see destinations across the sunshine state.” The same page calls Leonida “Home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond.” Those two sentences are the official frame. They describe a tour, not a finished gazetteer.
The six region guides below are the destinations in that tour. A profile is not a claim that the map contains only six areas. Rockstar has not published a labeled world map, and GTA 6 does not launch until November 19, 2026 on PS5 & Xbox Series X|S.
The tour
Six destinations Rockstar has profiled
Each name already has its own guide. The real-life column on real-life locations is a reading of official imagery, not a studio caption. County names are a separate layer on the counties index.
| Destination | Kind | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Vice City | Southeast metro | The neon capital of Leonida |
| Leonida Keys | Southern island chain | Where Jason’s story begins |
| Grassrivers | Southern wetlands | Leonida’s Everglades |
| Port Gellhorn | Gulf-coast panhandle | The rough end of the Gulf |
| Ambrosia | Interior, on Lake Leonida | Sugar country and smokestacks |
| Mount Kalaga | Northern highlands | The wild north |
What the sentence does not say
Six profiles are not the whole state
“A few” is the limit. Competitor roundups often turn the same six cards into a complete region list. Rockstar has not said the world is divided into exactly six playable areas, and it has not named the destinations left off the tour. This page does not fill that blank with leak-sourced landmarks, trailer street matches, or a kilometer figure.
The locations database currently files 357 places. That number is a catalog, including names sourced from the GTA Wiki, not a Rockstar headcount. Absolute size, still without a published square-kilometer figure, stays on map size. The interactive map draws the six tour destinations over a real South Florida street basemap. Those pins are illustrative anchors. How a row earns that treatment is on how places are verified.
Place-by-place yes and no answers stay on is it in GTA 6. Release timing and editions stay on The GTA 6 Guide.
FAQ
Official place questions
How many locations are in GTA 6?
Rockstar has not published a complete location count or a labeled world map. On 20 October 2026, the Only in Leonida page still says “Tour a few of the must-see destinations across the sunshine state,” and “Home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond.” The six region guides on this site are that tour. The locations database is a catalog of named places, not an official headcount.
Are there only six regions in GTA 6?
No. The six names are the published tour, not a statement that Leonida has only six areas. “A few” means the page is a sample of must-see destinations. Rockstar has not listed the places left off that tour, and this page does not invent them.
Has Rockstar released an official GTA 6 map?
No. GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not released an explorable official map. The interactive map on this site is a fan layer over South Florida streets. The six tour destinations are anchors on that layer, not claimed in-game coordinates.
What is the difference between the six regions and the counties?
The six regions are Rockstar’s place tour. The county index is a different layer. Five county names show up in official material. Lummox County is leak-sourced. Rockstar has not published a county map, a license-plate legend, or a square-kilometer figure.
Does this page name new GTA 6 landmarks?
No. It does not match trailer buildings to real street addresses, and it does not add places Rockstar has not named. Real-life readings of the six regions stay on the real-life locations page.
