Southeast metro

Rockstar’s modern Miami and the anchor of the whole map: pastel Art Deco blocks along the beach, a hard-edged downtown skyline behind them, and serious money parked on the waterfront. Rockstar bills it as the most detailed city it has ever shipped.

Southern island chain

Low-slung islands tied together by miles of overwater highway at Leonida’s southern tip. Boat yards, dive shops, and a smuggling economy that never fully shut down — and the place Jason Duval calls home when the story opens.

Southern wetlands

A flooded prairie of sawgrass and slow-moving channels standing in for the Everglades. This is airboat country — alligators in the shallows, wildlife everywhere, and hunting and fishing out past the levees.

Gulf-coast panhandle

A panhandle port town past its prime: motel strips, scrap lots, strip malls, and dive bars left behind when the Gulf money dried up. The cheap-thrills, cheap-crime end of the map.

Interior, on Lake Leonida

A company county on the shore of Lake Leonida, dominated by one enormous sugar refinery and the blue-collar town living in its shadow — with biker crews filling the space the industry left behind.

Northern highlands

A forested national park across Leonida’s northern highlands: lakes, rivers, hiking trails, and off-road routes shared with dangerous wildlife and locals who prefer to stay off the grid.
